“I Want To Be Fully Present For All The Months Ahead, And I Know I Can’t Do That Without First Taking Care Of Myself” – Ella Langley Cancels Upcoming Tour Dates To Focus On Health

Following a jammed-packed weekend with shows in Alabama and Florida, it seems Ella Langley has fallen victim to the tour-bug.

Langley took to Instagram this morning to announce that she will not be performing at her upcoming seven shows, ranging from August 15 to August 25. In the two-slide post, Langley shared that this four-week hiatus is due to weeks of feeling run-down and fighting off sickness.

“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting off sickness and feeling more run down than ever. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health – mind, body, and heart.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter has been out on the road since the beginning of 2025 with her Still Hungover Tour, commencing back in January, as well as joining Morgan Wallen on his I’m the Problem Tour and Riley Green on his Damn Country Music Tour. To say that Langley has been living in the fast lane would be an understatement, and looking ahead with 16 shows starting in September to tackle, it’s understandable that she needs time to recalibrate.

“I want to be fully present for all the months ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”

While this is never an easy decision to pull the plug on performances and, of course, a bit of a disappointment for fans planning to attend, Langley noted that the choice was one that was physically and mentally necessary. In the final portion of the first slide, she graciously thanked fans for their understanding, followed by a very applicable bible verse.

“Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love – It truly means the world to me.”

“‘Come to me, All you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ – Matthew 11:28”

Given this time off to recover, the list of tour dates affected includes a mix of supporting shows for the I’m the Problem Tour and the Damn Country Music Tour, as well as a performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

    • August 15 & 16 – Cleveland, OH
    • August 19 – Nashville, TN (Listening Room)
    • August 21 – Bonner-West Riverside, MT
    • August 22 – Idaho Falls, ID
    • August 23 – Nampa, ID
    • August 25 – Morrison, CO

This turn of events may come as a bit of a surprise given Langley’s continuous social media presence and looking gorgeous as usual in recent promo posts for her August 8th release with BigXthaPlug, “Hell At Night”. This just goes to show that social media doesn’t exactly portray what’s going on behind closed doors.

Understandably, the ACM New Female Artist of the Year has had quite the skyrocket to fame over these past few months, and it has to be a grueling experience as a performer. As of right now, Langley states that she’ll be back on the road in September and “ready to give you my all,” and we extend her well wishes for a speedy recovery to good health.
