Happy new music Friday.
Today, Jason Aldean dropped a brand new song, titled “Whiskey Drink,” from his forthcoming studio album, “Highway Desperado.”
Written by John Morgan, Jonathan Edwards, Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy, the break-up mid-tempo is Aldean’s fourth release from his 14-track, eleventh studio album, set to drop on November 3rd.
His previously released singles include “Tough Crowd,” which he performed live at the 58th ACM Awards earlier this year, “Let Your Boys Be Country,” and the controversial, Hot 100 chart #1, “Try That In A Small Town.”
Aldean heads into this record with Michael Knox at the helm, the same producer he’s used since he released his debut record back in 2005.
If you’re a huge JA fan, this song should be right up your alley. While it’s not a radio single (as of now) and nothing new and career-defining, it’s a solid song. Check it out, below.
