The recipe for a good time is pretty simple: four days of country music, warm weather, and a trip down to the Florida coast.
And luckily, that experience isn’t too hard to find either now that Gulf Coast Jam Presented by Jim Beam is returning once again for its 15th year with some of the genre’s biggest names and standout newcomers. Taking over Frank Brown Park right in Panama City Beach, the annual live music extravaganza is set to run from June 3 to 6 next year.
As previously announced, headliners Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Zach Top and Bailey Zimmerman will dominate the stage throughout the four-day event, with the “Chevy Silverado” singer kicking off the weekend. The following night, country music’s endlessly entertaining showstopper Luke Bryan will bring his usual antics to the Gulf Coast, before his good friend and touring buddy, Aldean, fires things up on Saturday night.
Putting the real cherry on top, rounding out the weekend on Sunday night will be everyone’s favorite ’90s country revivalist, Zach Top, who’s bound to have a pretty big year ahead of him with a new album promised for this spring. If you’re somehow not already sold on the weekend and aren’t currently running to the website for tickets, luckily the festival unveiled its full lineup today.
Other hit names taking the stage include Mr. Saturday Night himself, Jon Pardi, along with the rising “Brunette” phenomenon, Tucker Wetmore, Ty Myers, and Warren Zeiders. In addition, throughout the day, Dylan Marlowe, Laci Kaye Booth, Ian Munsick, Graham Barham, Carly Pearce, Myles Morgan, Chase Matthew, and Emily Ann Roberts will perform.
As promised by Gulf Coast Jam’s Executive Producer Rendy Lovela,
“This lineup includes some of the heaviest hitters in music. From established artists to the top new artists in the business, we have something for all of our Jammers!” Hence why the events been named by Billboard Magazine as one of the Top 10 Best Country Music Festivals.
For all the lucky panhandle locals, you might also recognize some aspiring faces throughout the weekend, with four PCB-based performers hitting the stage on each respective day, including Will Thompson Band, Chandler Flint, Sons of Saints, and Mitch Pierson.
As the weather starts to cool off, I give it about eight more weeks before we’re all complaining that we miss the heat again. So do yourself a favor and plan that beach escape ahead of time; at the very least, it’ll give you something to look forward to. I’m talking four days on the Florida coast, beaches just minutes away during the day, and a lineup of d*mn good country music waiting for you every night.
