Hit me like a (category 10) hurricane…
Just a few moments ago, Luke Combs officially announced the name of his new four-story bar in Downtown Nashville.
“Category 10,” in reference to Luke’s 9x platinum debut single at country radio, “Hurricane,” is set to take over Wildhorse Saloon at 120 Second Avenue and will feature three indoor levels, as well as a 9,000 square foot rooftop.
According to the Wildhorse Saloon’s website and Luke’s video post to his social media accounts, the new bar will be opening sometime this year:
“The new Luke Combs Bar will combine everything we love about Nashville โ live music, dancing, spirits, sports, and rooftop views โ at the a new multi-experience honky-tonk in the downtown district. Give your guests an authentic Music City experience at one single venue.”
It was early last year when Luke and the Opry Entertainment Group, a division of the Ryman Hospitality Group, announced that they would be partnering together to open the massive multi-level entertainment bar. Since then, it’s sort of been crickets from the 33 year-old country star. That changed today:
Category 10 will be the biggest entertainment complex in Downtown, Nashville, with a total of 69,000 square feet and a capacity of almost 3200 people. It is set to open sometime this summer.
