In what can only be described as a never-ending stream of rumors and speculation about whether or not the two are dating, Riley Green and Megan Moroney have been dominating the headlines over the past few months.
In case you’re not fully caught up on the latest relationship drama in the genre, Green and Moroney have been seen together on multiple occasions dating back to January. It first kicked off when internet detectives pieced together that Green and Moroney were on vacation at the same time in St. Barthélemy in the Caribbean after using some reverse image searches to match the background of their social media posts.
This continued on into February when the “Worst Way” singer posted a photo of himself in the ocean wearing a watch very similar to the one in Moroney’s Instagram post. He would later take down the original photo, which had a reflection of a woman in his glasses, and blacked it out.
This led to Moroney setting the record straight in March during a Rolling Stone interview where she said, “Just because we’re hanging out does not mean we’re romantically dating. You know what I mean?“
With all that being said, the pair has still been seen alone together multiple times since then, most notably being spotted at an airport together last month.
The rumor mill hasn’t slowed down since, and Moroney just added more fuel to fire today on TikTok.
Last night, TikTok user, Faith Rusch, uploaded a video of her lip-syncing to Moroney’s newly teased song, “6 Months Later,” wearing none other than a t-shirt with a photo of Riley Green shirtless on the beach. On the surface, it looked like nothing more than a fan playing into the rumors surrounding the two artists.
That all changed when Moroney commented on the post, simply saying, “Need the shirt.”
This, of course, sent fans into a frenzy in the comment section of Rusch’s TikTok, with many saying that she just confirmed that the two are dating.

“Megan confirming her relationship on this random video is crazy”
“I’m SHOOK. megan just confirmed it all finally.”

It should go without saying that this is, once again, a lot of fan speculation into the two’s relationship. It’s abundantly clear that both Green and Moroney are well-aware of just how invested fans are into the potential relationship. This could be the “Am I Okay?” singer further playing into the rumors; it could also be a lot more. Until one of them say otherwise, however, it’s all just speculation.
