Something’s brewing.
Despite being on a short break from his current What Kinda Man Tour and preparing for his Rodeo Houston performance tomorrow night, it looks like Parker McCollum is preparing to announce something big on his Instagram.
Though we don’t have an exact time frame, as of writing, the “Pretty Heart” singer has completely wiped his Instagram posts. Though he still has a story up promoting exclusive merchandise for the aforementioned Rodeo Houston performance along with past archived stories promoting tours, merch and more, every single post has been completely deleted. As you can tell by the image below, his profile picture has also been replaced by a blank, gray image.

If you’re familiar with McCollum’s social media presence at all, you’d know that he has an extensive backlog of posts dating all the way back to the early 2010s. Though it’s unclear exactly what this means currently, it’s incredibly safe to assume that there’s going to be a major news coming soon given that many artists in the past have wiped their social media accounts before album announcements.
That huge announcement, if I were to guess, would be a brand-new album. It’s been nearly two years since his latest LP, Never Enough. More importantly, we know that McCollum has been in the studio working on a new project dating back to March of 2024 given that he tweeted, “Studio tomorrow. Crazy to be recording my 5th studio album. I know for 100% fact that these songs and this record is best I’ve put together since the kid. Took me a long time to get back to this place as a songwriter. Feels good to be happy about my songs again.”
It should also be noted that McCollum’s wife, Hallie, hinted towards a return to the beloved “Limestone Kid” era of the 32-year-old singer/songwriter’s early days back in January when she replied to an Instagram comment saying, “wait till you hear the new album. The kid is 100% back.”
Another thing to note is that two people affiliated with McCollum’s record label, UMG Nashville, made subtle comments on our Instagram post, both typing, “👀👀👀“ If nothing else, this hints that something big is on the horizon.

As of now, there is no further information surrounding the complete wiping of his Instagram. However, we will update the story when more becomes available.
