DAMN good.
With all of the new music released today (cough – Morgan Wallen – cough) it’s easy to get wrapped up in, gee..I don’t know, 36 new other songs, but Pecos & the boys just released their first single since signing with Warner records and it’s my favorite release today, by far.
Frontman Pecos Hurley recently sat down for an Instagram live interview with Country Chord at the Hawthorne in St. Louis. When asked about the reoccurring theme of staying up until the early morning hours featured in their massive hit “This Damn Song” and now on “5 A.M.,” Pecos says he’s not as much of a night owl as he used to be.
“I stay up decently late sometimes but I don’t really get absolutely trashed anymore. If you want to make this career last a long time, you have to get rest and you have to take a little bit better care of yourself than what I was doing.”
