Going to be one helluva features list.
After finally announcing the title and release date for his upcoming country album titled, F-1 Trillion last week, Post Malone kept the hype train rolling today teasing another collaboration with none other than Chris Stapleton.
Stapleton joins the likes of Blake Shelton and Morgan Wallen as confirmed features on F-1 Trillion. However, if I was a betting man, I’d figure that there would be plenty of more to come. Post has already teased a collaboration in the past with Luke Combs, so there’s no doubt that the “Beer Never Broke My Heart” singer will make an appearance on the record. The only artist missing at this point is George Strait, and honestly, I wouldn’t rule it out.
As for the song itself, it sounds like yet another homerun for Post. Sounding like one of the more traditionally country tracks teased so far, it has the patented sultry, bluesy feel that Stapleton is known so well for.
And as I’ve said countless times before while covering Post’s venture into the country genre, I would expect this album to cover a lot of ground musically speaking. It’s been well-documented that he likes to explore a multitude of different sounds within albums such as Hollywood’s Bleeding where he delivered traditional rap, pop, alternative and even metal tracks on the album. Judging by the different production choices on “I Had Some Help,” “Pour Me A Drink,” “Never Love You Again” which was performed at the ACM Awards and this collaboration with Stapleton, we’re in for a diverse record.
Currently, the song is untitled and does not have a release date.
