Doin’ things a little different ’round here…
Today, Riley Green and Luke Combs‘ reimagined version of the title track to Riley’s debut studio album “Different ‘Round Here,” is officially out.
The production is VERY similar to the original, ’cause..if it aint broke, don’t fix it, but it still has its minor differences. Even though I love everything about Riley’s original, this new version is damn near perfect.
Riley has been havin’ himself a pretty busy year so far. He recently released “God Made A Good Ol’ Boy“ and “Raised Up Right,” as well as his collaboration with Justin Moore, “Everybody Get Along,” last month.
The original version of “Different ‘Round Here” from 2019 was just recently certified Gold by the RIAA. I imagine sending an already popular song to Country radio, featuring one of the biggest artists in the genre right now, should make for a HUGE hit.
It’s no secret that Riley doesn’t have the biggest pipes in Country. However, his tone and originality is what separates him. Combined with staying true to the original lyrics, there ain’t too many songs released this year better than this. My expectations were GREATLY exceeded.
