Kenny Chesney is bringing the beach back to the Las Vegas Sphere for 6 additional shows at the beginning of July 2026.
After a 15-show run back in May through June 2025, Chesney previously announced that he would return the same time next year, in 2026, for 12 additional shows. Due to the immense demand, Chesney just took to Instagram to announce he’d be adding 6 more shows to that lineup.
“No Shoes Nation. This show has kept us inspired. Five nights turned into something bigger, and it only felt right to keep going. If we’re going to do it, let’s make it count, so we’re adding SIX additional dates.”
Unfortunately for fans unable to make it out to Las Vegas, this residency will be the 57-year-old’s only shows in the summer. Chesney adds, “Sphere will be my only headline concerts this summer.”
Since its kickoff performance from U2 in September 2023, other large acts have taken the immersive stage, including The Eagles, Backstreet Boys, Phish, Dead & Company, and, most recently, Zac Brown Band. With a capacity of 20,000 people, the facilities all encapsulating 16k wraparound LED screen engulfs the audience in moving graphics. There is also a number of 4D effects like that transport the crowd using moving seats, wind, and scents. For Chesney, this technology lends itself to his tropical branding, enabling fans to take a ride into his “pirate world.”
