Over the weekend, Morgan Wallen took his highly sought-after I’m The Problem Tour to Glendale, Arizona along with Ella Langley, Miranda Lambert and Brooks & Dunn. Despite some highs on night one that included a walkout with Arizona Diamondbacks Hall of Fame pitcher, Randy Johnson, and the announcement that a remix of his song, “Miami,” featuring Lil Wayne and Rick Ross is coming this Friday, July 25th, the show did not go off as planned for the “Last Night” singer.
According to fans on TikTok, the crowd present during night one was nothing short of unruly. On top of Wallen reportedly getting objects thrown at him on multiple occasions while performing on the mainstage, there were multiple fights throughout the night. Most notably, one occurred right in front of Wallen while he performed “I’m A Little Crazy” on the side stage.
In the comment section of the second TikTok video above, a user who claims they were in the section explained that a woman who was trying to claim seats she didn’t pay for threw a drink at another fan which caused the fight.
One would think that the fight would be the most ridiculous part of the concert; however, that was not the case. Just minutes before the aforementioned fight broke out, Wallen was grabbed aggressively by a fan while making his way to the side stage.
In a TikTok by user, BaelubRoss, Wallen is shown high-fiving fans while walking towards a smaller stage at StateFarm Stadium. After the Tennessee native makes his way to the TikTok user, he is grabbed by a fan, getting pulled back slightly. In response, Wallen shakes himself out of their grasp, looks back in bewilderment and mouths what seems to be “The f*ck?”
Fans who attended the concert took to the comments to speculate that it was a man in a cowboy hat who grabbed Wallen. However, BaelubRoss, responded, saying it was a “very intoxicated” woman instead, “it wasnβt the guy who did it, it was a woman & she was very intoxicated. please stop commenting that it was the guy. i saw who did it, this is my video, my experience. it was a woman, i witnessed it first hand.“
The crowd was so bad throughout night one, in fact, that Wallen directly addressed their behavior in the early part of his second show. Addressing the crowd, he said, “I didn’t know if I was ever going to come back to Arizona after that crowd last night, but I think tonight you might change my mind.”
