Despite controversy over the past year due to raising the cost of their subscription price yet again, Spotify still remains the #1 streaming service for music with over 615 million users worldwide. Given the massive success that country music has experienced over the past two years, I thought that it would be interesting to dive into the top 25 highest-streamed country songs on the #1 streaming platform.

Keep in mind that due to the prominence of streaming platforms among younger users, this list is fairly recency biased, with only four of the 25 songs released before 2010. In fact, there are seven songs from Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Shaboozey that have been released within the past three years on the list.

It should come as no surprise that Wallen, Bryan and Combs absolutely dominate, owning a staggering 14 of the top 25 songs. Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton also appear, with Dolly owning two songs in the top 25.

Not appearing on this list despite some potential arguments are Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble” as well as Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.” I decided to leave them off given that they received play primarily in other genres (and they can hardly be considered country in the first place, I’m looking at you, “Old Town Road”).

Keep in mind that this is not a ranking and streaming numbers do not equate to the quality of any of the songs mentioned here. It should be noted that these are the numbers as of March 6, 2025, and are subject to change fairly quickly.

    25. Chasin’ You – Morgan Wallen (726 Million)

    24. 9 to 5 – Dolly Parton (728 Million)
