“They Can F*cking Arrest Me” – Wyatt Flores Performs Incredible Acoustic Set In The Middle Of The Crowd At Nebraska Show After Being Kicked Off Stage For Playing Past Curfew

If there’s one thing about Wyatt Flores: no matter what, he’s gonna put on a show.

I’ve gotta give the 25-year-old Oklahoma native kudos for the fact that he’s always just performing in the middle of a parking lot or on the side of the street somewhere for his fans. He’s also been known to take his show straight into the crowd on a few occasions, bringing his performance of “Oh Susannah” into the pit of his Aussie concert in Melbourne just a few months ago.

This past Saturday night, August 8, Flores kept this same down-to-earth mentality and truly said, “the show must go on” after he was booted from the stage at his Elkhorn, Nebraska show, a part of the Pinnacle Bank Championship. Continued rain delays throughout the day forced Flores to go on stage later than anticipated, only for him to be kicked off the stage at 11:45 due to noise ordinances, according to one TikTok user.

Flores wasn’t letting any curfew or a few security cops stop him from delivering a standout performance to his fans who had spent the day in the rain, though. He and his band promptly hopped right into the crowd and just decided to continue the show with a few guitars and his vocals.

At the start of one clip from @will_foust, an event staff member came up to Flores and gave him the get-out warning, and he firmly replied, “They can f*cking arrest me.” She continued to try and talk to him as he strummed the intro of “Please Don’t Go” and he affirmed, “You can tell ’em if you want.”

Can confirm: this only made me love him 20x more. The crowd joined him in singing loudly along to his 2025 hit, with his fiddle player ripping the melody in the background that truly just makes this phone flashlight-lit performance even more magical. And to the poor girl scream crying while singing in the background…I feel you.

According to me, living vicariously through everyone’s videos posted online of his performance, the “Drive All Night” singer also sang his fan-favorite cover of The Fray’s “How To Save A Life,” and now I’m really jealous I wasn’t physically there. Flores allegedly played well past midnight, giving the cops who shut down his set the ultimate metaphorical middle finger.

Prior to his epic up close and personal performance, however, Flores was joined by his fellow supporting act Kashus Culpepper for an awesome duet of “Milwaukee.” He’ll return to the stage in a couple of weekends on August 22 in Helix, Oregon, as he continues out on the expanded dates of his 2026 Drive All Night Tour, which wraps up on November 21 in Nashville.
