Almost as good as Creed’s halftime performance.
Back in 2021, Luke Combs took the stage at AT&T Stadium to perform three of his biggest hits during the Thanksgiving halftime show between the Dallas Cowboys and Oak- (excuse me) Las Vegas Raiders.
The six-and-a-half minute performance from Combs featured a medley of “When It Rains It Pours,” Beer Never Broke My Heart” and “Beautiful Crazy.”
All three of those songs went No. 1 at Country radio, and I know that because all seventeen of Luke’s singles have reached the top spot since he burst on to the scene with “Hurricane” back in 2016. Referring to that as impressive would be an understatement.
Kane Brown performed the Cowboys halftime show on Thanksgiving day the year prior, and let’s just say that Luke was a massive improvement for the fans in attendance and viewers at home.
On top of getting to watch LC perform while going in and out of a food coma on the couch with my pants unbuttoned trying to make room for pumpkin pie, the Cowboys also ended up losing in overtime, making it a memorable turkey day, to say the least.
Dolly Parton will be performing this go around when the Cowboys host the Commanders this Thursday at 4:30pm EST. (Go Redskins.)
Watch Luke’s performance below, as well as Creed’s iconic 2021 halftime medley performance…’cause why not?
