Riding the highs of an extremely busy month that included the release of their sixth studio album, The Price of Admission, their involvement in the history-making Boys From Oklahoma concert series with Cross Canadian Ragweed and headlining Red Rocks Amphitheater back-to-back nights this past weekend, Turnpike Troubadours are keeping the momentum going into the fall with a brand new tour.

Minutes ago, Turnpike took to Instagram to announce that they are adding 16 brand new shows to their newly-titled, Wild America Tour 2025 which begin in late August.

The Wild America tour will begin in Chicago on August 28th before wrapping up on December 13th in Mesa, Arizona. Along the way, the legendary red dirt band will hit the likes of Lubbock, Austin, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, St. Louis, Washington, D.C. and more.

Turnpike is employing a revolving door of the best in the red dirt scene as openers with the likes of Wyatt Flores, Shane Smith & the Saints, American Aquarium, Old Crow Medicine Show, Randy Rogers Band, Shelby Stone, Trampled By Turtles, Noeline Hofmann and more all making appearances throughout.

Having the pleasure of seeing them twice over the past three years, there’s absolutely no denying that Turnpike is one of the best live shows in the genre, and they seem to be getting even better as the years go by. Between frontman Evan Felker’s masterfully penned lyrics and lead vocals, Kyle Nix’s electric fiddle work and RC Edwards’ presence both as a bassist and co-writer on many tracks, there’s truly nothing better than a Turnpike concert. You won’t want to miss them if they are in your city.

Advanced presale will go live this Wednesday, May 14 at 10 a.m. local with general sale beginning this Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m. local. RSVP for presale can be accessed here.
