Surely this won’t ruffle any feathers.
Throughout the year, Kid Rock and Jason Aldean have taken their tour/music festival, Rock the Country, throughout small-town America. Beginning in Gonzales, Lousiana on April 5 and 6, the festival has seen the likes of Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Koe Wetzel, Gavin Adcock and even Nelly join the mix on the lineup.
During the sixth weekend of the festival in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on June 29th, Kid Rock turned heads by walking out to a custom video message from none other than former president and current Republican nominee, Donald Trump. In the video, Trump praised the “All Summer Long” singer and called him “one of the greatest entertainers of our time” before the Kid Rock and Co. opened the show with his 1998 hit, “Bawitdaba.”
Trump’s full message included the following: “Everyone, I love you all. I know you’re having a great time at the Kid Rock concert tonight. Quite frankly, he’s amazing. All of you in attendance are the true backbone of our great country, hard-working, God-fearing, rock-n-roll patriots. Bob [Kid Rock] is truly one of the greatest entertainers of our time. Let’s all continue to love one another, fight for our God-given freedoms and most of all… let’s make American rock again. Have a wonderful time tonight. God bless you and God bless America.”
Trump’s message to Kid Rock should come as no surprise given that he has been a supporter of the former president since the beginning of his first presidency back in 2016.
