Fresh off the announcement yesterday morning of their eighth studio album, Love & War, Zac Brown Band has just confirmed that their long-awaited Las Vegas Sphere residency is officially coming in December. Coinciding directly with the release of Love & War on December 5th, the Georgia-based band will perform on four nights (December 5-6 and December 12-13).
In case you weren’t aware, Brown teased the band’s residency all the way back in May of 2024 on Theo Von’s podcast, telling the comedian that they had already been working on the appearance for a year. At the time, many were expecting Zac Brown Band to become the first country act to perform at the Sphere. That, however, changed when newly announced Country Music Hall of Famer, Kenny Chesney, performed 15 nights at the venue beginning in May.
Discussing the residency, Brown discussed it as a dream come true, “Bringing our new album ‘Love & Fear’ to Sphere in Las Vegas is a dream come true. It’s my masterpiece so far. This show is the story of my life that I have never shared, a journey through my imagination, music and stories that have defined who I am. All of this brought to life in the incredible immersive environment of Sphere. It will be a unique experience where you can really feel every note, every word, right there with us. We can’t wait to share it with the fans.”
If you aren’t familiar with The Sphere at this point, it’s nothing short of a technological marvel. Standing at 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, it contains the world’s largest high-resolution LED screen on its exterior (580,000 square feet) and 160,000 square feet of 16k LED screens which wrap around the interior. Additionally, it holds 20,000 residents with over 17,000 seats.
Zac Brown Band will become the second-ever country artist to appear at the Sphere and will join the likes of Chesney, Eagles, Dead and Company, U2, Backsteet Boys, Anyma and film director, Darren Aronofsky, as the select group of artists who have played the venue so far.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning next Friday, July 25, at 10 a.m. PT on the band’s website. Travel VIP packages, which include a concert ticket and a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas are available for purchase now. All other VIP packages will be on sale Monday, July 21, at 10 a.m. PT. Additionally, members of Brown’s fan club, Zamily, will have priority presale access on July 21 at 10 a.m. PT.
