Just minutes ago, Evan Felker and the boys announced “An Intimate Evening With Turnpike Troubadours,” a concert benefiting the victims of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle wildfires.
Although it is now contained, the largest wildfire in Texas history has spent the last three weeks scorching 1,058,482 acres in the Texas Panhandle and portions of Oklahoma. Officials blame power lines in Hutchinson County for the start of the fire.
At least three deaths, along with thousands of dead cattle, have been confirmed, and all hands on deck, including fire fighters in North Texas, have been deployed to assist in efforts of containing and putting out the fire.
The Turnpike Troubadours’ benefit concert will take place next Thursday, March 28th, at Cook’s Garage in Lubbock, Texas with special guest Red Shahan. We’ll keep you updated here if any additional information is announced.
