Seven time CMA Entertainer of the year winner Garth Brooks has officially kickstarted his 2026 Blame It All On My Roots arena tour, bringing all of his 90’s (still non-streamable) hits to the stage.

With only four cities announced so far, last night, August 20 marked his first stop in Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Brooks’ will keep the ball rolling throughout the rest of the weekend with three more shows in store for his Indiana crowd, before heading To Denver’s Ball Arenas followed by Chicago’s Allstate Arena, and Washington D.C.’s Capital One Arena.

Following his two hour set of 23 songs yesterday evening, the 64 year old “Friends In Low Places” singer took to social media to express his gratitude to last night’s kick-off crowd exclaiming, “THIS is how you start a tour!!! INDY… night one of four, and you absolutely blew the roof off this place.” He added, “if this is the beginning, we’re in for one h*ll of a ride” signing off with his signature, “love, g.”

According to those who got to witness the country music icon’s high energy, spinning drum pod extravaganza, as promised Brooks’ delivered a completely throwback setlist, featuring only songs from 1997 or earlier. Following that theme, he opened the show up with his 1995 hit, “The Old Stuff” which he hasn’t played live since 2020.

As expected, the night wouldn’t be complete without his iconic classics such as “The Thunder Rolls,” “The Dance,” “Callin’ Baton Rouge,” (originally coined by The Oak Ridge Boys), and obviously, “Friends In Low Places.” Brooks’ also left room for some covers throughout the night including The Isley Brother’s 1959 doo-wop anthem, “Shout!” along with Keith Whitley’s “Ten Feet Away” which is a frequent tribute performed by the Oklahoma native.

For the 1985 country classic, Brooks stripped things back with just his guitar in hand for the final encore, also playing a snippet of “The Red Strokes” and “She’s Every Woman” requested by a fan. He rounded the night out with “Belleau Wood” and his 1993 “Standing Outside The Fire.”

Returning to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse stage tonight, Friday August 21, who knows whatever mix-ups and surprises Brooks may have up his sleeve for night two (And may we finally be one step closer to finding the bodies).

With that being said, while artists have been known to switch up the songs on a city-to-city basis, in general, here’s what to expect from Brooks throughout the rest of the 2026 Blame It All On My Roots Tour:
