This past Monday night, Dierks Bentley, Zach Top, Ella Langley, Dylan Marlowe, Dasha and more headlined a surprise lineup in Nashville in celebration of Whiskey Jam’s 1,000th show.
Whiskey Jam, which was founded by Ward Guenther in 2014, has become one of the primary sources and outlets for rising artists to perform shows, hosting everyone from Kacey Musgraves and Lainey Wilson to Morgan Wallen and ERNEST over its 10 year run.
On a night filled with stellar performances across the board, it was none other than Zach Top and Ella Langley who stole the show when the two performed Top’s breakout single, “Sounds Like The Radio,” together for the first time.
It’s no stretch to say that Langley and Top are two of the hottest artists in the genre right now. With Langley scoring a smash hit with Riley Green on “you look like you love me” earlier in the year and Top continuing his rise off of viral hits like “Use Me” and “I Never Lie,” the pair have easily been two of the most buzzy artists throughout 2024.
The performance comes less than a week after Langley and Top received their first-ever CMA Award nominations for Musical Event (“you look like you love me”) and New Artist of the Year respectively. Though Top would lose to Megan Moroney, Langley and Green took home the award for Musical Event before the show aired last Wednesday.
