With the Super Bowl less than two weeks away, it’s officially time to dust off those buffalo chicken dip recipes and, of course, start weighing in on who you think will take home the win.
Following last Sunday’s AFC and NFC Championship games, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots emerged as the two winners and will now face off in the Super Bowl on February 8 at 6:30 PM at Levi’s Stadium. Marking a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX in 2015, the matchup brings these two teams together once again, this time in a post-Brady era.
We thought it would be interesting to ask country artists who they think will win Super Bowl LX, and there was quite a range of answers. If you’re yet to make your bets and have absolutely no idea which team to root for, take it from one of your favorite country music artists. Check out their picks below:
2025’s CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Red Clay Strays, without a doubt, sent their unwavering support to New England, responding, “Pats dawg.” Shouting out the Patriots quarterback by adding on, “Drake Maye all day.”
Dylan Scott had a similar response, writing, “New England. Drake “Drake Maye” Maye!!!!!” And we can’t forget about Hudson Westbrook, who replied, “New England (DRAKE “DRAKE MAYE” MAYE).” Someone needs to let Maye know that he’s got a lot of groupies in the country music world.
“Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” singer Randy Houser went for a two-part answer, admitting “I’d like to see Patriots, but I’m afraid Seahawks are gonna take it.” Guess that’s a disappointed vote for Seahawks on Houser’s behalf.
Fun fact about singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett: he majored in sports management at Texas A&M, which makes sense given he responded with not just a team pick but his whole score prediction, too. You heard it here first from Gossett, “Gimme Seattle 27-17.”
Less calculated, Brantley Gilbert threw his hat into the ring for a Seattle pick thanks to the influence of his manager. “Not much of an NFL guy but, Seattle. My manager is from Washington state.” Longtime friend and collaborator, Jason Aldean, has produced massive hits thanks to Gilbert’s song-writing and apparently, they share the same Super Bowl vote. Aldean told us, “I got Seattle.”
Rounding out the votes for Seattle, 7 more artists, including Conner Smith, Dylan Marlowe, Cameron Whitcomb, Dustin Lynch, Randall King, Kameron Marlowe, and Gavin Adcock, are all rooting for a Seahawks win. Finally, quarterback Sam Darnold from the Seahawks gets some love with Dustin Lynch adding, “Get em Sam he’s my boy!”
Only two other artists, Larry Fleet and duo Muscadine Bloodline, picked the Patriots. Muscadine Bloodline clarified, “New England. Because as Titans fans, that would be the most ironic.” Guess they’re still rooting for coach Mike Vrabel either way.
And finally, with arguably the best pick and most off-the-wall, Wyoming native Ian Munsick chimed in with “Bills” adding, “#JoshAllen” and “gopokes,” referring to Allen’s college football days at the University of Wyoming. While this isn’t a fill-in ballot, Munsick, I’d have to agree with that response. Manifesting a Josh Allen Super Bowl 2027.
By majority rule, the Seahawks are currently the favored team among this group of country artists, with the Patriots receiving five votes and the Seahawks pulling ahead with 11. Time will tell which of these artists should stick to music instead of sports betting, and, of course, we’ll have to check back to see just how accurate Gossett’s score predictions turn out to be.
