Country music star, actor, and now unofficial gender reveal officiant, Riley Green, just keeps adding to his growing list of accolades.
Between playing his hits like “Different ‘Round Here” and “Rather Be,” the Alabama singer-songwriter took time during his Sunday night Lonestar Smokeout show to help an expecting couple announce their baby’s gender. Looking out into the Arlington, Texas crowd, he held the results in his hands, to which, in true Green fashion, he plainly stated, “Ya’ll are having a baby…nice.”
Backed by a cinematic sunset and his band playing a slow jazz tune, Green initiated the ultimate reveal at AT&T Stadium, pausing to leave everyone hanging before announcing, “It’s a little rascal, you’re having a boy. Congratulations.” While Green kept his delivery short and sweet, nothing can top an on-stage reveal; heck, it certainly beats out an exploding cannon of pink or blue dust.
Now, the future baby boy’s reveal will live on forever in video history thanks to Green. One commenter hilariously asked, “You know what you have to do now?” to which the mother replied, “lol name him Riley? We’re thinking about it!” Honestly, that would make for an all-time story whenever the future kid gets asked where his name came from.

This festival stop also comes at the start of Green’s 2026 Cowboy As It Gets Tour, which kicked off this past April 16 in Mississippi and will continue throughout the remainder of the summer, wrapping up on August 22 in North Dakota. Throughout the headlining arena tour (which is bound to bring some more wild tour antics), Green will be joined by openers Justin Moore, Mackenzie Carpenter, Zach John King, Drake White, Hannah McFarland, and Adam Hood.
