I’m not crying…you’re crying.
Luke Combs’ pre-sale for the 2027 extension of his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour kicked off yesterday, August 18, and while I, for one, have yet to snag tickets…I’m currently too invested in one young fan’s upcoming visit to the “Hurricane” singer’s opening night.
Kicking things off this spring on April 3 in Arlington, the AT&T Stadium show ended up being a kismet full-circle moment for one Texas mother who had promised her son tickets if Combs even stopped by the Dallas area. TikTok user @mirandairms shared the incredibly special moment she got to surprise her young son with the upcoming experience.
Per her bio, Miranda’s husband, Ruben, passed away just last year in January 2025, and as she shared in her video, in honor of his memory, she promised her son that they would go to a Luke Combs concert in his honor…something she never got to do with her late spouse. Sitting by his grave in a fold-out chair, she gave her son a cardboard box to open.
And you guessed it: inside was a printed ticket to Combs’ opening night show. Her son’s reaction to the slip, wide-eyed and gaping mouth, is absolutely precious as he reaches the paper out of the box and, in awe, states, “Tickets…Luke Combs?”
If you’re not already tearing up…here comes the water gates. She shares, “he’s coming two days after me and your daddy’s anniversary.” Someone get me twenty boxes of Kleenex.
By now you can hear Miranda sniffling behind the camera, and her son’s eyes start to water up as well. In true childlike wonder fashion, he then nervously asks, “But there’s only one [ticket]?” as he looks at the single piece of printed paper in his hand.
Not to fret, both Miranda and her adorable son will be present at Combs’ Lonestar state kick-off, as he inevitably delivers another high-energy sold-out show. While the North Carolina country superstar has yet to see the clip, which was posted only just yesterday, his official headquarters account did comment with a reaction pic and teary-eyed emoji stating, “The amount of times we’ve watched this video.”

All I’m saying is somebody needs to get this little man backstage passes pronto and let him shotgun an apple juice box with Combs on stage. For those hoping to experience Combs’ upcoming twelve tour stops next year, pre-sale is still happening throughout Thursday, and general ticket sales will begin on Friday, August 21 at 10 am local time.
