Note to self: Don’t get on Dolly Parton’s nephew’s bad side.
The idea that we can’t be judged by our family members couldn’t ring more true here, especially when it comes to the late sweetheart legend known for her widely accepting nature and her allegedly hostile, drama-stirring nephew, Bryan Seaver. Seaver, Dolly’s longtime head of security and the man who famously shared the devastating news of her passing on social media, has since found himself splashed across headlines for a dispute no one saw coming.
A couple of weeks ago, the story broke that Dolly’s manager, Danny Nozell, had filed for a restraining order against Seaver and subsequently fired him over alleged threats. In the coming weeks, Dolly’s security on her various properties has been replaced, and Seaver has found himself in a messy, heated estate battle.
And based on everything I’ve learned about this man since this debacle started to unfold, he has quite the way with words. Continuing the allegations of some of the wild threats and insults Seaver has hurled while trying to get a slice of Aunt Dolly’s estate, TMZ has obtained newly filed court documents, including a series of wild emails.
Apparently, these newly recovered emails stem from a dispute over security and construction issues at one of Dolly’s Nashville properties, and while we don’t exactly have the full context of the drama, by the sound of it, it really riled Seaver up. In one email, he called a man a “f*cking sc*mbag loser” and warned him that his lawyers were going to “start f*cking you up the a**.”
Seaver appeared to be complaining about staffing, alleged drug use by the subcontractors, and one build that was badly behind schedule, in which he continued to tell a man, “Let’s play ball, you f*cking sc*mbag loser.” I also had to laugh at the hilarious paradox of this next line calling him a “worthless skinny fat nerd,” and telling him to “go f*ck yourself you f*cking weakling.”
The ex-military contractor also stated in another email to the unnamed man, “wire your balls on and start doing professional work,” before calling him a “f*cking red leg bushwhacking Missouri sc*m bag.” I’ll give him points for creativity on that one.
In previous statements, Seaver has denied making threats and stated that his comments were taken out of context. I guess grieving makes you do wild things.
As of right now, Seaver’s court date regarding his temporary restraining order is scheduled for this Friday, October 9, in the Davidson County Chancery Court in Nashville, but Seaver has filed a motion to delay the hearing by 10 days as he continues to search for legal counsel. The judge has not yet officially ruled on his request.
