Bucket list activity: third-wheeling one of Koe and Parker’s nights out.
There’s no denying the two have slowed down quite a bit since becoming fathers and leaving some of their rowdier days behind. But if you know anything about prime Parker and Koe, you know they used to get into some pretty wild antics while touring together.
Reminiscing on their O.G. Naughty or Nice tour (which is finally returning to Texas this December), the boys took a trip down memory lane together while hitting the golf course in a new YouTube vlog. Taking us behind the scenes on their adventures in the golf cart, Parker in particular had a lot of fond memories of their shared time on the road.
Let’s just start with his first story, which involved a post-show dip in the water when Koe forced everyone to jump in the pool…leaving McCollum wearing someone else’s shorts, which he says were probably about a “size 52.” And of course, the next morning he woke up to find out Koe was in jail, which Koe fondly reminisced about, noting it was an “old school jail where you could hang your hands over the bars.”
In between their next few swings, Parker pulled out the glorious memory that was his first time pulling up a strip club in Waco, Texas. Chances are you might’ve heard this iconic story once before, with McCollum diving into his time at the “titty bar” on a Theo Von podcast episode back in 2023. For more context, this time ’round he recalled: “There was one girl dancing in there, I’m like, ‘you just give ’em the money?’ and I’m like handing out $100 bills, and you’re like ‘yo P what are you doin?'”
Being the only two in this Waco, Texas joint, like any wise man would do, Koe stirred up the pot and wisely decided to smash a glass of whiskey against the wall and proceeded to ask the bouncer, “You want some fat boy?” and THEN promptly got on all fours in the middle of the parking lot. Lord knows I would give GOOD money for photos of that debacle.
That same night, Koe wouldn’t let McCollum sleep in his clothes either, hilariously stating a sentence probably only a few people can say: “I woke up to Koe Wetzel taking my clothes off.” While their early touring days produced plenty of hilarious, lore-building stories, they also helped fuel both artists’ budding careers — including the moment McCollum first realized just how big “I Can’t Breathe” had become while playing a Naughty or Nice show at San Marcos’ Cheatham Street Warehouse.
Reflecting on the insanity of returning to the stage together seven years later (now at much different points in their lives), the two enthusiastically shared their excitement about getting back to their home state of Texas. At the end of the video, Koe and Parker encouraged fans to grab tickets to the 2026 Naughty or Nice Tour, which are on sale now. And as someone who won’t be able to witness the full-circle reunion shows myself, take this as your sign to go in my honor.
Oh, and for those wondering, Parker did in fact end up beating Koe in their round of golf.
