It never hurts to see a little representation from the Lone Star State in the nominations for any award show. It’s even better when the artist actually takes home the title. Tonight, Cody Johnson did just that.
Johnson was nominated for three awards tonight. They included: Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year (both for his music video of Human), and CMT Performance of the Year of ‘Til You Can’t at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. The track was released back in 2021 as the lead single off his eighth studio album entitled Human: The Double Album.

This comes as CoJo’s third CMT award to date. The first two awards came back in 2022 for Male Video of the Year with the same song, ‘Til You Can’t, and Digital-First Performance of the Year for Dear Rodeo.
