One record at a time…
As of today, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing At A Time” spends its tenth consecutive, and total, week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Morgan’s 2021 release, “Dangerous:” The Double Album,” although not consecutively, also spent ten weeks at No. 1, making him the first male soloist in history to have two consecutive albums do so, since the Billboard 200 began publishing on a regular, weekly basis in 1956.
Only 8 other acts have had at least ten albums, in general, spend at least 10 weeks at the top spot, including Adele, Taylor Swift, Whitney Houston, The Beatles and The Kingston Trio.
On top of the accolades and records he continues to break, Morgan also just won his first ever ACM Award for Male Artist Of The Year.
Morgan just spent his 30th birthday with his son and is still spending the next five weeks recovering from vocal chord damage. If you have tickets to see him in that time-frame and haven’t seen the rescheduled dates yet, check ’em out here.
