Almost too good to be true…
After completely blowing up in just a matter of days with his song, “Rich Men North Of Richmond,” which has now garnered 7 million views on YouTube alone, Oliver Anthony put on his first show today since the songs release, in Currituck County, North Carolina.
Anthony shared a video on Tiktok just two days ago announcing the free show and adding that he would stay and personally meet everyone who came out..
“I will stay until 2:30 a.m. if I have to…I promise if you show up, if you are willing to come and listen to me, I am willing to stay and listen to you. I’m gonna shake your hand. I wanna hear what you have to stay, I wanna hear your story. This is notabout me, this is about you.”
Well, from the looks of it on social media, the crowd surely showed up in the heat to support the new emerging artist and had a good time doing it.
A movement is happening in Currituck County, NC.

The place is PACKED to see @AintGottaDollar 🤯 pic.twitter.com/0JizljlAjx
And during the performance, which took place at the Morris Farm Market, Country legend, Jamey Johnson, showed up and took the stage with Anthony to perform his hit (and one of my personal favorite songs) “In Color.“
It’s too early to predict if this newfound fame fades out for Anthony, but as of right now, he’s humbly taking in every minute of it. Watch the performance clip, below.

Good for him…I hope he has the right people around him and not the wrong people.
