“I got a stereo…” Over the weekend, Darius Rucker along with Hootie and the Blowfish headlined the second night of the Riverfront Revival festival in Charleston, South Carolina, performing their hits, “Let Her Cry,” “Only Wanna Be With You” and “Hold My Hand.” Given that he was in his hometown, Rucker included a couple of his solo hits into the set, with the band playing “Wagon Wheel” and “Alright” during the back half. It seems as if ol’ Darius had a few too many drinks during the show, however. During the performance of “Alright,” the “Don’t Think I Don’t Think…

By now, everyone is aware that his mammoth, major label debut, American Heartbreak, as well as his EP, Summertime Blues, both came out within a three-month span that year. However, what some people tend to overlook is the fact that he released another four singles that year, including the severely underrated “Starved,” which was released two years ago today. Like a few of Bryan’s releases, “Starved” had a pretty odd rollout. A live version of the track…
What a trio. Last night, at the Songs and Stories of Dean Dillon tribute concert, legends such as George Strait, Vince Gill, Ronnie Dunn and Sammy Kershaw performed along with the likes of current stars, Cody Johnson, ERNEST and Zach Top to honor the legendary singer/songwriter. Dillon has written a mile-long list of hits including Strait’s “The Chair,” “Easy Come, Easy Go,” “Marina Del Ray” and “Ocean Front Property” and most notably “Tennessee Whiskey.” The Tennesee native has also cut songs with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn and Keith Whitley. With Zach Top absolutely crushing a cover of Whitley’s…
