As Morgan Wallen prepares to wrap up his 2026 Still The Problem tour with only two cities left, tour opener Gavin Adcock officially hung up his hat for his final stop this past weekend.
Joining the country music superstar for 16 shows throughout these past few months, Adcock completed his last show in Baltimore on Saturday, July 18, and, of course, couldn’t leave without a parting gift. I’ll tell you right off the bat, whatever you have in mind for what this gift could possibly be, I can promise you you’re probably nowhere near close to picturing it.
The rowdy “Run Your Mouth” singer documented his farewells in a recent video posted to his social media, sharing an unboxing of the “thank you” gift backstage. Before opening up the wicker basket, Adcock admits, “I thought to myself, ‘What should I get somebody that can get anything in the world they want to by themselves.'”
He then shares, “My answer was something they would never get themselves.” Well, Gavin, I think it’s safe to say you accomplished that goal, buddy.
At least he gives a slight warning before whipping out his warped piece of wall decor from the container, telling the camera, “Ya’ll be prepared” while hoisting up a fusion of taxidermy hell. Meet Roofus! Or as Adcock so enthusiastically describes the horrendous piece, “a buck a** mount, made into a little critter with some eagle claws, some turkey feet, and some bull horns on the top.”
Luckily for Wallen, it’s got a hanging mount on the back of its rump so he can put it on any wall of his choosing to fuel all his future nightmares. Probably the worst part about the whole thing that Adcock fails to describe in his description is the two gremlin-looking eyes parallel to its “mouth” hole, along with it’s wide open fangs hanging out below the tail.
Grinning from ear to ear like a proud kid showing off his artwork, Adcock affirms, “can’t wait to see what he thinks.” The comments echoed this curiosity, beckoning the Georgia native to record Wallen’s reaction.
Lord only knows how one would react to opening something so…unique…but I’ll tell you right now, if I were in Wallen’s shoes, that would be about the last time I ever invited Gavin back on a tour. Luckily, I think the “Don’t We” singer has more of an affinity for hanging velvet trophies on his wall; I’m just not so sure about this half of the buck, though. Nonetheless, gotta give Adcock points for creativity.
As Adcock now prepares to head back out on the road, continuing on his own 2026 The Day I Hang It Up tour, Wallen will return to the stage next weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan alongside HARDY, Thomas Rhett, Hudson Westbrook and Blake Whiten.
