Forget the traditional TV fireplace or the puppy yule log; you can now spend three hours staring at Riley Green in his Christmas sweater on your screen this Holiday season.
I know we’re only a few days into November, but in my opinion, it’s never too early to start getting into the Christmas spirit. And arguably, one of the easiest ways to do just that is by throwing on a cozy Yule Log video in the background while you’re decorating the house, baking Christmas cookies, or even opening presents on Christmas morning.
And apparently nothing says wholesome-family-cozy-Christmas than the “Worst Way” singer serenading you on the screen with a crackling fire and some gentle guitar-picking melodies. Thanks to Green’s partnership with HEYDUDEs, every yearning middle-aged woman’s dreams have finally come true, and you too can now stare at him for three hours straight on their brand new, “Riley Green Fireplace Yule Log.”
The ambiance loop features Green decked out in his Nordic crewneck, and of course sporting some HEYDUDES, playing an unknown acoustic lick on the guitar beside the Christmas tree. The slip-on shoe brand also enlisted America’s favorite coach on The Voice for a brand-new commercial.
According to the minute-long ad, all you have to do is gift your husband a fresh pair of HEYDUDEs for Christmas, and he’ll magically transform into the 6’4″ country singer, complete with handyman skills, an impressive throwing arm, and the ability to serenade you on guitar. In their words, it’s a “comfort miracle.”
