Back on June 7th, Morgan Wallen took his headlining 2024 One Night At A Time Tour to the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheatre in VA Beach, Virginia, where he announced that the unreleased fan-favorite, “Lies Lies Lies,” will officially be dropping on July 4th.
Although the Independence Day release date originally came from Morgan himself, the official date listed on the pre-save site for the song officially reads Friday, July 5th. And with Morgan’s Instagram account currently deactivated, the 31 year-old country star has not yet made any announcement himself to clear the air.
“Lies Lies Lies” has been a fan-favorite with MW fans for quite some time. He first performed the track alongside his good buddies and label mates, Hardy and Ernest, when he made a surprise appearance at the SoHo House in Nashville, Tennessee, last February. It was also featured in his Abbey Road Studios Session (which you can watch here).
While fans will have to wait one more day before being able to listen to the song on their favorite streaming service, I think they’ll be able to manage. Spend the fourth out with your friends or family, have some drinks, eat some burgers, watch some fireworks and crank up some Toby Keith. Oh, and Lainey and Zach are dropping as well.
