Surprise.
Back in December of 2021, Ernest released “Flower Shops,” featuring his good buddy and frequent collaborator, Morgan Wallen.
The song was written by Ernest, alongside Ben Burgess and Mark Holman and was featured as the lead single off Ernest’s second studio album of the same name.
The song quickly became one of Ernest’s most popular tracks to date. It currently has almost 2 million streams on Spotify alone and almost 20 million views on the official music video via Youtube.
With back-to-back concerts at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville over the last two nights, Morgan ended up making a surprise appearance at last night’s show, where he awarded Ernest with his first ever RIAA certified double platinum plaque for their collaboration together.
The two then went on to perform the hit live. And if that wasn’t enough, Jelly Roll also made a surprise appearance to perform “Son of a Sinner,” giving the fans in attendance an extra bang for their buck.
