As the two current hottest faces in country music, Ella Langley and Zach Top are a dream duo for many fans.

Luckily, we don’t have to dream up what that pairing would look like on one stage because the two have already performed together in the past. For those who may not remember, back in November 2024, the two united forces at Whiskey Jam’s 1000th show in Nashville. Personally, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a milleversary.

Both the ACM New Male Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year played their own set of some of their top hits during the night. However, the stars aligned when Langley joined Top on stage for his 2024 earworm, “Sounds Like The Radio.”

With the crowd singing along in the background (because how could one resist), Langley adds in a perfect harmony to this hit. At the time, both artists were coming off strong years following the releases of Cold Beer & Country Music and Hungover, respectively. Still, no one in the room could have predicted just how meteoric their rise would be in the months that followed.

A little over a year later, Top released another successful album, Ain’t In It For My Health, and has undeniably established himself as a figurehead of country music’s new generation. Similarly, Langley has emerged as a leading lady in the genre, with her hit “Choosin’ Texas” continuing to dominate the Billboard Hot 100, holding steady at Number 5 for the past two weeks.

Given how much new music both have released since that initial collaboration, it feels like the perfect time for a round two. Langley has already earned a reputation as the queen of duets, thanks to her award-winning collaborations with Riley Green. Meanwhile, Top has yet to officially release a duet, (if you don’t include his live recordings with Billy Strings), especially with a female vocalist, making this pairing all the more compelling. And, If there’s a collaboration destined to “heal the world” in 2026, this might be it.

More logistically speaking, the rising stars are both set to perform at the Railbird Festival in Lexington, Kentucky, on June 7 as the two main acts before headliner Tyler Childers. With both sharing the stage back to back, there are some high hopes in store. Maybe we can even get Top to steal Riley Green’s verses on “You Look Like You Love Me.”
