Fresh off of a brand new EP, Half Life, as well as a performance at Stagecoach over the weekend, Wyatt Flores is back with a brand-new music video for the fan-favorite track, “Milwaukee.”
Flores took to Instagram yesterday to announce the music video, noting that it will be premiering all day on CMT’s channels.
The video is directed and produced by Edgar Evan, who has directed a plethora of country music videos including Warren Zeiders’ “Pretty Little Poison,” Molly Tuttle and the Golden Highway’s “Next Rodeo,” Brett Eldredge’s “Mr. Christmas,” Lainey Wilson’s “LA” lyric video and plenty of others.
Evans’ direction throughout the video does a perfect job of depicting the sense of loneliness and regret throughout the track by showing the central relationship evolve before leaving our protagonist alone at the same pool table we are introduced to him at.
Flores took to social media to thank the crew and express how proud he is of the project, “This is the coolest music video we’ve made yet and we worked hard to bring the story and feelings in the song to life. Huge thank you to the actors, my band, the crew, and everyone involved in making this happen.”
Flores is about to embark on his Half Life tour which starts on May 19th in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Upcoming dates include the following:
