Zach Bryan Removes Cover Art Featuring His Ex Wife From Second Studio Album “Elisabeth” On Streaming Platforms

    Unexpected.

It’s a well-known fact among Zach Bryan fans that his second studio album, Elisabeth, which was released on May 8, 2020, is a bit of a black sheep in regards to the “I Remember Everything” singer’s discography. Despite containing hits such as “Heading South” and the RIAA certified gold, “Revival,” the album has been seemingly disregarded by Bryan in the grand scheme of things.

Though he has never commented on it, it’s highly speculated that the album is seemingly forgotten by the Oklahoman singer/songwriter due to the fact that it bears the middle name of his ex-wife Rose Elisabeth Madden whom he divorced in 2021.

There has been plenty of allegations of Bryan cheating on Madden which prompted the divorce to be filed; however, it should be noted that they are all allegations and nothing has been stated publicly by either parties.

In 2022, Bryan removed both the title track and “Anita, Pt. 2” off of the album on streaming platforms, and it seemed like that was as far as he was going to go in terms of editing the 2020 sophomore LP. However, tonight, he removed the cover art for the record on all streaming platforms except for Spotify.

    Elisabeth Comparison

As you can see in a side-by-side comparison, Bryan completely omitted both the picture of himself and Madden as well as the text bearing her middle name.

Bryan has yet to comment on the removal of the artwork, but it leads one to speculate why he waited this long to make changes to the album artwork given that he had already removed the title track along with “Anita, Pt. 2” back in 2022.

This is all purely speculative, but the album’s artwork removal could stem from Bryan being in a long-term relationship with social media influencer/Barstool podcast guru, Brianna LaPaglia, also known as Brianna Chickenfry. The pair have been dating for nearly a year as of writing.

Although unlikely, another potential reason could be that Bryan is gearing up for a physical release of the album given that it is the only record in his discography that has yet to be pressed on vinyl. For now, however, we have no official word on the changes made.
