To say Morgan Wallen has had a massive year would be an understatement.
Not only did the 31 year-old superstar have the most streamed song of the year, all-genre, with “Last Night,” he also beat out Taylor Swift to finish 2023 with the #1 album on Billboard’s 200 chart with “One Thing At A Time.”
Having the most listened to song as a country artist is a huge accomplishment in itself, but the accolades don’t stop there for the Thinkin’ Bout You singer:
He also had the highest grossing country tour of the year, pulling in double the revenue that second place finisher, Luke Combs, earned with only two more tour dates.
While he was seemingly snubbed at the 57th annual CMA‘s, walking away with zero trophies in three categories, Morgan had a huge night at the Billboard Music Awards, taking home more wins than any other artist with 11 total.
And as of today, Morgan has officially earned his eleventh career No. 1 hit at country radio with “Everything I Love.”
The song was written by Morgan, as well as Ernest, Ryan Vojtesak, Ashley Gorley, Gregg Allman and Robert Kim Payne, and becomes the fifth #1 from his massive 36-song album, One Thing At A Time, released back in March of this year.
Nate Smith currently has the #1 song on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “World On Fire,” while Wallen’s Everything I Love holds the top spot on Mediabase Country.
Morgan’s latest single at country radio is his duet with Eric Church on “Man Made A Bar,” and given both artists’ impressive track record, I’d put money on it becoming Morgan’s 12th No. 1 single here within the next few months.
