A week ahead of the official release of Ella Langley’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Dandelion, the official tracklist has now been released.
Previously, Langley introduced this new carefree backhome era with the release of her mega viral hit, “Choosin’ Texas,” followed by the title track, “Be Her,” and most recently, “Loving Life Again.” As of today, we officially have a sneak peek at the full list of the 18-song project to come on April 10.
The album kicks off and ends with “Froggy Went A Courtin’,” which should be an interesting listen given its unique name. There is also only one feature track with fellow “Choosin’ Texas” co-writer Miranda Lambert on “Butterfly Season.” Additionally, the 12th track is a cover of Kitty Wells’ 1952, “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels,” which became the first number one Billboard country hit for a solo woman artist (paying homage to Langley’s own female-acclaimed feats).
For those still too antsy to wait out this final week before Langley ushers in a Dandelion-summer, check out her recent performance of the unreleased ninth track, “Bottom Of The Boot.”
