You never forget your first. Back in April of 2011, Kelly Clarkson, the first-ever winner of the massive singing competition, American Idol, was welcomed back to the live stage to perform her hit duet with Jason Aldean, “Don’t You Wanna Stay.” The song, written by Andy Gibson, Jason Sellers and Paul Jenkins, was the second single off Aldean’s “My Kinda Party” album (still his best record to date, in my opinion) and went on to become his fifth No. 1 song at country radio. While Kelly Clarkson has been known to dabble in country music quite often over the last…

The song is still resonating with folks… While Donald Trump was addressing a crowd during his campaign stop in Virginia yesterday, “Rich Men North Of Richmond,” the viral hit song from Oliver Anthony, played over the speakers and the crowd absolutely loved it. The song, which lashes out at wealthy politicians in D.C. and has racked up almost 70 million views on Youtube and over 65 million streams on Spotify alone, has become a huge hit with conservatives, despite Oliver admitting he doesn’t belong to either side, politically. In fact, the first Republican presidential debate on Fox News opened the event by…
