Chris Stapleton is BACK.
Earlier today, a new Chris Stapleton album became available for preorder on Apple Music in select Countries, leaking before an official announcement from Chris himself.
As we predicted, the album announcement was slated for Friday and it was already Friday in those Countries. Well now, it’s officially, you guessed it…Friday here in the States, and the album announcement has came, along with a brand new single, “White Horse.”
White Horse was written by Chris himself, along with Dan Wilson, and although almost any typical Stapleton fan would probably enjoy it, it does have a minor fresh feel to the star’s catalog.
The very beginning of the track has a Bon Jovi feel, then all of a sudden you hear a southern rock vibe that you’d experience only in an old Skynyrd song. However, seconds in, the switch flips and it becomes more of a typical Stapleton song that fans have become accustomed to. And that’s not a bad thing.
