After sending the country world into a frenzy with the announcement and release of his brand new duet with Carrie Underwood, “I’m Gonna Love You,” Cody Johnson dropped another surprise tonight with the announcement of the deluxe edition to his 2023 album, Leather, simply titled Leather Deluxe Edition which releases on November 1st.
Minutes ago, Johnson took to Instagram to announce the deluxe album’s release with the caption, “Surprise! I love making music for y’all so much, and I’m stoked to announce that I’m releasing the #LeatherDeluxeEdition, with 13 new tracks, out November 1st.“
Johnson indicated that the deluxe version of Leather was coming all the way back in February when he took to Instagram and said, “I was in the studio all day yesterday. ‘Leather: The Deluxe Edition’ is officially done and you’ll have it this fall.” And it looks like he was finally ready to make its official November 1st announcement today.
Leather Deluxe Edition will include 13 new tracks including today’s brand new collaboration with Underwood, “I’m Gonna Love You.”
