I don’t think the plan went as expected…
Back in June of 2024, Morgan Wallen took his headlining One Night At A Time tour to the US Bank Stadium for two back-to-back shows in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and per usual, the drunk fans in attendance got a little rowdy.
While it seems that fans are more prone to throwing objects at artists on stage nowadays compared to earlier times (or maybe we are just seeing it more often now due to concertgoers recording the entire show on their smart phone device), one trend that has been back in full effect is ladies throwing their undergarments at male performers.
Riley Green has seen (and touched) his handful of bras over the last couple of years, but unlike the “Different ‘Round Here” singer, it appears Morgan has had enough.
Back in July of 2023, a fan threw a boot at Morgan’s chest while he was signing autographs during the second night of his two-show stop in St. Louis, and instead of taking the time to scribble his name and hand it back, the “Last Night” singer chucked it as far as he could into the opposite direction, which probably resulted in the fan going home on one foot that night. Not to mention the recent piano and security guard cell phone debacles…
And in Minneapolis, some girl decided to toss her thong at Morgan (which ended up landing right on his face by the way), during his performance of “I Had Some Help,” and although I’m not sure what someone’s supposed to do in that moment, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an artist toss someones underwear back into the crowd for someone else to go home with. I mean think about it, you’re just minding your own business, belting your drunken little heart out to “it takes two to break a heart in two,” and bam, a strangers thong ends up lassoed around the rim of your fresh 16 oz. Coors Light that you waited in line 20 minutes to get.
I mean, I guess it would make for a good story. Let’s just hope it was a fresh pair and not taken off in the middle of the concert. Watch the video here:
