    WATCH: Chris Stapleton Delivers Flawless Performance of “Your Man,” Song He Co-Wrote For Josh Turner

    Before becoming the country music sensation that he is today after the release of his 2015 debut album, “Traveller,” Chris Stapleton was one of the most prominent songwriters in all of Nashville.

    The 45 year-old superstar is responsible for co-writing many hits over the last couple of decades, including some you probably wouldn’t expect.

    From “Never Wanted Nothing More” by Kenny Chesney, to “Come Back Song” by Darius Rucker, Chris left his mark all over the 2000’s. One track that Chris is listed as a co-writer on, just before blowing up himself, may come as a surprise due to the poppy production choice, and that’s “Crash and Burn” by Thomas Rhett.

    Still, the list doesn’t stop there. Many other massive country artists have recorded songs written by Stapleton, including George Strait and Luke Bryan. However, perhaps the most random, yet iconic of them all, is “Your Man” by Josh Turner.

    Known for his unmistakably deep and smooth baritone sound, Josh released the track in 2005 as the lead single off his album with the same name. The triple platinum certified song went on to become his first #1 hit and remains a highly referenced track in the genre still to this day.

    Stapleton wrote it alongside Chris DuBois and Jace Everett, and it went on to become his first ever #1 as a songwriter and admittedly the track that helped him buy his first house.

        I love your voice in EVERY SONG! Im just a country girl who moved here from Harlan Kentucky and moved close to Murfreesboro to do hair. My precious daddy was in Vietnam & worked in the coal mines the rest of his life. Until he wasn’t able to do anything and he passed away on 12/14/21. And that’s when my nightmare started. I had my second Moderna shot on 7-21 and They say it was given to a low and hit a nerve and since then everything is happening to me. I stay in my room now from panic attacks and nerves. I’m cripple on left side, but it’s spreading. I had to have back surgery in 22 because my spine was completely in half at bottom. So no choice there! After that I had no help because my husband is working 2 jobs and it sure does not replace what I made. But he is trying so hard & take care of me too. I gained 80 pounds, diabetes, cholesterol,hormones, antidepressants and I’m being sent to a lung doctor and a kidney doctor now because I’m leaking protein from Kidneys.
        So I have been in my room for 2 1/2 years now from depression and anxiety, I used to be pretty I thought. lol But now I look so old
        No one knows me. I’ve lost almost half the weight but I’m not able to stand long at all.
        I have tremors etc… my husband just wants to buy us a house so we won’t get thrown out. We was going to buy our house 1 month before this happened. I love to hear you sing you & Morgan. I wish me and my husband had those days again. I’m home alone because he try’s to work. I am 51 and he is 48. We both worked so hard all our lives and now I have no income, lost my daddy, my mommy is 4 hours away and trying to deal with all this that’s been thrown at me. I have been denied twice already for SSdisability and my psychiatrist and therapist say that I have had well can’t remember 😢. So sorry! Please keep singing so I have something to listen to in my room. Pray for me and my family that we will make it someway. I love you guys..

He was an amazing person and he loved the Lord and could play any guitar ( like you ) that he picked up. You gotta voice that was given to you to sing so keep on singing for people like me.

      Chris Stapleton instantly became my favorite Country singer from the first time I heard his songs. He has a strong but very cool way of expressing himself in his songs. I hope fame never changes this perfect man!

        I’m not a big Country Music fan , but this guy is extraordinary. His guitar, singing voice and rhythm and blues . Adds that something extra.

      Don’t give up on disability!!! Your psychiatrist and medical doctors should help you get your disability. Hire a lawyer to file a lawsuit against Moderna and the CDC and the facility that gave you the injection in the wrong place! DON’T GIVE UP PLEASE!!!!!
      Just hire a lawyer to handle the whole thing. You have rights! I’ll be praying for YOU! Jerri
