The song that keeps on giving.
Just two months after releasing a live video performance for “Burn It Down” from his show at the Moody Center Arena in Austin, Texas, Parker McCollum released yet another live video performance of the track to his YouTube channel yesterday, this time an acoustic version.
While I’m a huge fan of Parker’s high energy stage presence, accompanied by the pyrotechnics launching into the sky when he performs “Burn It Down,” this stripped down version featuring Parker lounging on a barstool is a nice change of pace and allows you to direct your entire focus towards the storyline.
The single, written by Parker, as well as Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose, is off his recent fourth studio album, titled “Never Enough,” and has recently cracked the top 5 on Mediabase country, eyeing to become Parker’s fourth straight No. 1 hit at country radio.
The Texas native is currently on a short break from his headlining “Burn It Down” tour. Featuring special guests Larry Fleet, Corey Kent and more, the tour will kick back off exactly one week from today in Abilene, Texas, and runs all the way until August. You can view all tour dates here.
