Just this morning, Texas native William Clark Green, announced he was making his debut at the Grand Ole Opry on May 16th.
The Opry has always been a place that Country music artists strive to play at and (hopefully) become a member of when they’re young in their career. Even though the credibility of the Opry has started to diminish over the years, it’s still cool to see guys like Green get a chance to be recognized.
The “She Likes The Beatles” singer put out his first record in 2008 but if I’m being honest, I didn’t discover him until about 6 years ago. Still, he’s became one of my favorite artists and deserves a ton more recognition.
