$45 for both days, yeah you read that right.
If you thought that there were more country festivals now more than ever, you would be correct. With new festival lineups seemingly dropping on social media every other week, it may be hard to decide on which one(s) to attend.
With some pretty heavy hitting lists of performers already announced for Two Step Inn, Cattle Country, Tailgate N’ Tallboys, as well as Morgan Wallen’s inaugural Sand In My Boots Fest in Gulf Shores Alabama, there’s just one problem for many ordinary fans – the prices.
And don’t get me wrong, the pricing usually reflects the demand and popularity of artists featured in the lineup (among other variables such as the amount of performers, location, reputation, etc.), but what if there was a festival featuring some of the hottest and fastest-rising stars in country music that didn’t require taking out a second mortgage to attend? Or better yet, not even require you to use your credit card for? Yeah…what if, right?
Well, let me introduce you to the Breakout At Big Creek Festival located in Cottonwood, Alabama. The first-year event will be held from April 4-5 at Big Creek Amphitheater, located just south of Dothan, Alabama, and features breakout artists Wyatt Flores and Kameron Marlowe as headliners, as well as Bayker Blankenship, Dylan Marlowe, Hannah McFarland, Jackson Dean, Pecos & The Rooftops, Sadie Bass and more.
And with both headliners currently boasting over 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify combined (as well as day-two performer, Dylan Marlowe, just scoring his first #1 at country radio), you’d expect these tickets to at least be around a hundred bucks, but Breakout At Big Creek seems determined to keep their ticket prices low while simultaneously providing a unique and intimate experience for those who attend by starting their lawn tickets out at just $45 for BOTH days.
To put that into perspective, tickets to see Wyatt Flores alone in concert right now are selling for around that price, with resale for sold out shows even more expensive.
Of course, the festival will also feature other package options such as preferred viewing starting at $85, as well as PIT seats starting at $195. And if that wasn’t enough, kids 6 and under can attend for free. Oh, and if you were wondering, yes RV spots will be available for this event because what’s better than live music and a camping trip?
