Good news for Luke Combs fans.
Today the 33 year-old country star took to social media to reveal he’s back in the studio. Whether he’s officially working on his fifth studio album or not, we don’t know. However one things for certain – new music is on the way.
Luke’s last record, “Gettin’ Old,” dropped in March of last year, so if his album release schedule remains the same as it has throughout his career thus far, we’re due for another project from the Better Together singer in 2024.
Combs has been one of the biggest country singers in the world over the last few years. Not only was his cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” one of the most popular songs in all of music last year, all 17 of Luke’s singles at country radio have gone #1, which is insanely impressive and almost unheard of.
In fact, “Fast Car,” as well as “Love You Anyway,” both held the top two positions on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart back in September, making him the first artist to ever simultaneously land two solo songs inside the top 2 since the chart began almost 34 years ago.
While there’s no official release date for any upcoming song or album (as it appears Luke is in the early stages of recording) it’s always a good sign to see the big guy back to doing what he’s best at.
