Beyoncé Fans Absolutely Lose Their Sh*t Online After She Receives Zero Nominations For The 2024 CMA Awards

    Here comes the BeyHive…

This morning, the nominees for the 58th annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards were revealed with Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton and Cody Johnson leading the way with Wallen earning seven and Stapleton and Johnson receiving five each.

While many fans of the aforementioned artists were ecstatic to see their favorite artists earn nominations at one of the longest-running country awards shows around today, there was one particular group of people that weren’t happy: Beyoncé’s extremely passionate fanbase, aptly titled the BeyHive.

Her fans were outraged due to the fact that Beyoncé was not nominated for any CMA Awards. And while, there’s some argument to be had given the fact that COWBOY CARTER was labeled as a country album, landed at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and scored her a record-breaking #1 country hit with “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” there’s one key element that should be considered while discussing this CMA “snub:” Beyoncé herself publicly said that COWBOY CARTER was not a country album.

“This ain’t a Country album. This is a ‘Beyoncé’ album.”

With all of that being said, however, it did not stop fans of the “Drunk in Love” singer from going on a tirade against the CMA, claiming that the organization is racist, threatening to boycott the show and even performing witchcraft on members of the association (yes, you read that correctly).

Here are some of the best (or worst) reactions to the “snub.”

FUCK THE CMA’s RACIST ASS RED NECK PIG SKINNED INC*ST M*THERF*CKERS WHO GET F*CKED ON THE LOW BY GAYS ON GRINDR HOOK UPS pic.twitter.com/LHZ0jDpIS9

    i’m doing witchcraft tonight.

The #CMA doubling down on the disrespect by not acknowledging #CowboyCarter is ridiculous. I’m waiting to see which artists boycott & stand with @Beyonce 👀 The Carters need their own award show like Soul Train so we can watch the CMAs ratings plummet to hell where they belong

the CMA’s snubbing Beyoncé for any awards is such a macrosggression and slap to the face! she literally awakened the country genre if we’re being honest!

It should go without saying that no one really takes the CMA Awards seriously anymore. Between Old Dominion winning Group of the Year seemingly every year without fail, alt country darlings like Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson rarely (and sometimes never) getting recognition and just an overwhelming feeling of the association being out of touch, the CMAs certainly aren’t what they used to be. If I was a Beyoncé fan, I certainly wouldn’t take this “snub” to heart.

The CMA Awards will air live on ABC at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee at 7 p.m. CT on November 20.
