The perfect duo doesnt exi-
After teasing that they were “up to something” on social media late last week, Conner Smith and Dylan Marlowe officially announced they are hittin’ the road together in 2025 on the “Did We Just Become Best Friends? Tour.”
Dressed as Will Ferrell and John Reilly (or should I say Dale and Brennan), the two announced the tour with a graphic that plays off of the extremely popular 2008 film, Step Brothers. Of course, the name of the tour is also one of the most quoted lines from the movie, along with the infamous “did you touch my drum set?”
Kicking off in Columbia, South Carolina in the spring, the tour will feature a total of six stops across the east coast, including two shows in Florida. Rising country acts, Hannah McFarland and Cole Goodwin, will serve as openers three nights a piece.
After going viral on TikTok with his college-football themed heartbreak anthem, “I Hate Alabama,” Conner Smith earned his first gold record with “Take It Slow” back in 2023. The song is still arguably the 24 year-old singer/songwriters most popular to date, with over a massive 74 million streams on Spotify alone. Smith’s most successful radio single, however, was “Creek Will Rise,” which debuted at No. 89 on the Billboard all-genre Hot 100 chart and became his first-ever top-twenty hit on Airplay. It is also currently certified gold by the RIAA.
Like Smith, Dylan has also seen viral success on TikTok. The rising star first broke out with a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s “drivers license” back in 2021 and was a co-writer on Jon Pardi’s #1 hit, “Last Night Lonely.” Speaking of #1 hits, Marlowe also just scored his first with “Boys Back Home” ft. the other Dylan in country music, Dylan Scott.
If I were you, I’d get the tickets to see these guys now. They ain’t gonna get any cheaper.
