Sincere apologies to everyone at Treaty Oak Revival’s concert this past weekend who had their experience ruined by a bunch of idiots fighting… but I can’t stop laughing at lead singer Sam Canty’s response.
The rowdy Texas rockers headlined the Smoke Show fest in Gilbert, Arizona, on Saturday (October 24), and might I just say the lineup was pretty epic, featuring 49 Winchester, Corey Kent, and Gannon Fremin & CCREV taking the stage before TOR. And shockingly, the band’s most recent fan incident did not happen during their beer-soaking, chair-throwing hit, “Boomtown.”
Instead, a few concertgoers decided to start a fight mid-song during their 2023 track, “Have A Nice Day.” Thankfully, one brave fan caught in the middle of the scuffle managed to capture the incident on camera; shout-out to @user482675921.
Her video captures a woman absolutely screaming at the top of her lungs, along with people throwing a few punches during TOR’s performance of the title track to their second studio album. A few moments later, another budding internet journalist caught a clip of the band stopping the song to call out the fight and beckon security to kick the instigators out.
Personally, my favorite line is Canty hilariously declaring, “Well, I guess we’re not gonna have a nice f*cking day.” He also instructs the security, “Get that f*ckin’ a**hole out of here, hey motherf*cker, beat his f*ckin’ a** then, I don’t give a sh*t.”
Additionally, voicing what I can only imagine goes through every artist’s mind when a fight breaks out in the crowd, he shouts, “If you’re gonna f*ckin’ fight and cause sh*t, get the f*ck out of this f*ckin’ crowd, motherf*cker.” He follows it up with one final warning, “get his a** out of there,” accompanied by the rest of the crowd cheering in support.
According to one comment on @kristielaneford’s page, the hooplah was caused by “2 fights, same circle.” All I know is I’d hate to be the culprit of stopping the show and getting dragged out of one of my favorite bands’ concerts.
I feel for Treaty Oak; I really do. As much as I love their music, their shows tend to attract the world’s biggest dumb*sses, and then they’re forced to deal with the fallout.
The boys only have a handful of dates remaining in 2026 across Texas, rounding out officially with the exciting Extreme Rodeo event in Tulsa on November 21. Luckily, I have a feeling their supporting dates on Luke Combs’ 2027 tour will also bring them a much tamer crowd as they officially hit the road on his massive stadium stops starting April 3 in Arlington.
2026 Tour Dates:
- Oct. 29, 2026 – Corpus Christi, TX – Concrete Street Amphitheater
- Oct. 30, 2026 – Stephenville, TX – Melody Mountain Ranch
- Nov. 12, 2026 – Austin, TX – Moody Center
- Nov. 13, 2026 – Houston, TX – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
- Nov. 21, 2026 — Tulsa, OK – BOK Center
